- World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-02) – Istanbul, Turkey: Served as Secretary to the Working Group on LDCs
- World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-06) – Doha, Qatar: Served as Secretary to the Working Group of Plenary responsible for the Strategic Plan and the Declaration.
- World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-10) - Hyderabad, India: Served as Secretary to Committee 4 on Regional Initiatives
- World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-14) – Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Served as Secretary to Plenary and the Steering Committee
- World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-17) – Buenos Aires, Argentina: Served as Secretary to Working Group of Plenary responsible for the Strategic Plan and the Declaration

He addressed many United Nations Conferences on behalf of ITU held at Head of State level e.g.:
- 2005: he spoke at the United Nations Conference for Small Island Developing States (which is held after every ten years), which was held in Mauritius.
- 2006: he represented ITU at the United Nations General Assembly.
- 2011: he spoke at the United Nations’ Fourth Conference for the Least Developed Countries held in Istanbul, Turkey.
- 2014: he spoke at the Third United Nations for the Small Island Developing States that was held in Apia, Samoa.
- 2015: he addressed the Third United Nations Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction held in Sendai, Japan.
He also organized and spoke at many other conferences of high standing.
